Ms. Draughn is a graduate of the Bennett College Communication program. As a child, Ms. Draughn was verbally and emotionally abused due to a severe burn she received as a young toddler. The physical scar from an unfortunate accident, which caused 2nd and 3rd degree burns over her body caused her self-esteem to become very low, which manifested itself in reckless behavior. Like many winners who have risen above the storm clouds of adversity, Ms. Draughn has taken a bad situation and used it as a stepping stool to lift her high above all of the afflictions she has endured and now empowers, encourages, and inspires her audience to dream, reach, be, achieve and Give!
