Lynn Johnson is a dynamic, energetic, award-winning, internationally-acclaimed motivational speaker, trained life, career / relationship coach, and radio personality. She grew up in Indiana, the daughter of a single parent who was a college professor and educator. Lynn gives the words “overcoming adversity” a whole new spin. She was once a battered woman who weighed only 79 pounds who escaped with no more than one suitcase; and turned away from her busy high-profiled, top producing broker career. She uses her unshakeable resolve to “live your best life” to motivate, inspire and teach others all over the world the power of “Self.”
Lynn, an alumna of Spelman College in Atlanta, GA was a financial planner and broker through Prudential Financial Services. She was also in the management training program of Equitable Financial Services where she received numerous honors and awards including the business honor of “Young Lion” through the Fortune 500 Business Leadership Program “The Young Lion’s Club.” Lynn was also designated through LUTC (Life Underwriters Training Council) and received a paralegal degree with honors through the American Bar Association accredited Long Island University. Lynn was such a dynamic individual, bringing another dimension to the corporate sector that she was often asked to motivate the sales force.
Lynn is also the host of a worldwide one-hour radio show “The Lynn Johnson Motivational Show” which is carried on over 100 stations in 150 countries. Her show features her theme song recorded by Grammy-nominated recording artist Will Downing.
Ms. Johnson was nominated for Who’s Who among African Americans in Human Rights on behalf of her efforts for mothers and children. She has been a very vocal advocate in the fight for the rights of children and their families. Lynn has been featured on radio and television, The Bertice Berry Show (USA Live), BET (Black Entertainment Television), African American Women Role Models, 90.5 WSNC FM, KISS FM and many more. She is a trained Personal Life, Career and Relationship Coach with an elite clientele of celebrities, entertainers, business executives, CEO’s and people in transition. Newspaper and magazine features about Lynn Johnson include the front page of The Washington Times, NYC Parent Guide, The New Yorker Magazine, Essence Magazine, Heart and Soul Magazine and many others.
