TBWSB Speaker Submission

ARE YOU A PROFESSIONAL SPEAKER OR CORPORATE / PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINER?

Business Keynote Speaker, Motivational Speaker and Corporate / Professional Development Trainer Submission Guidelines

The Baltimore Worldwide Speakers Bureau (TBWSB) works with only the most professional, inspiring, ethical, good character and reputation, and high-value content-driven speakers.

Our roster of keynote speakers is made up of first-class business leaders, inspiring story makers, educated minds, celebrities, notable sports figures, positive movement change-makers, thought leaders, world leaders, best-selling authors, and news/radio/television personalities in the world.

Broadening our roster of first-class professional speakers is high-priority to continuing the exceptional service we provide for our clients. If you are starting out in the industry or your current fees are below $5,000 per booked speaking engagement, we strongly recommend contacting The National Speakers Association for guidance.

*** Refrain from calling our business offices.

Here are the guidelines to submit your speaker materials to TBWSB for review and possible representation on our roster of professional speakers:

    • Submission Materials [your speaker one sheet or online (digital) speaker press kit]
    • Full Bio
    • Current Fee or Fee Schedule Sheet
    • Contact Information: email, mailing address, web site URL, phone number, social media sites.
    • You must provide at least 3 topics/areas of expertise
    • List of programs with descriptions
    • Link to a current demo video or speaker reel (at least 5-10 minute live presentation).
    • Title of published book(s) with ISBN number, publisher, and publication date.
    • List of other speaker products you currently produce and sell.
    • List of at least 5 client testimonials/presentation reviews (from real clients/meeting planners who paid you to speak, not from your friends or other speakers/trainers/career professionals you know... authentic, real speaking engagement client feedback or endorsement statements).

*Include links to all your submitted speaker materials or upload the documents to Google Drive and share the link(s) with us. Do not send us Word Documents or attached files.

We may take up to a month to get back to you and if you do not hear from us in that time frame, it means we will not be partnering with or adding you to our TBWSB Speaker Roster.

** Do NOT email your speaker information to us at any of our other email addresses you may find online. It will be deleted.

*** Refrain from calling our business offices.

Speeches or Program Presentations: Tell us... How many paid keynote presentations or training sessions you gave in the previous 12 months at a fee of $5,000 or more? How many paid speaking engagements you would like to give in the next twelve months?

A Speaker Press Kit: To include your current bio, speech title(s) list with one-page program descriptions (outlines), articles or news media reports that have been published about you, a copy of your published book or dust cover (and one sample of any other speaking products you may have), and 5 testimonials from groups you have spoken to within the past year. A "one-sheet" containing most of the above information is also acceptable.

Demo Video or Speaker Reel: A link to a 5-10 minute video (unedited, and without voiceovers, music or transition pages) of a speech or presentation given in front of a live paid audience within the past year is required. You may also submit as a second or third link, your professionally done speaker reel, 2-10 minutes in length. If you do not have a speaker demo video link or speaker reel link showcasing you talent and abilities delivering a speech/presentation in front of a live audience, please do not waste your time emailing or mailing us your speaker materials for review.

**** Media interview clips, in-studio or at home recordings, book signings or panel discussions are not accepted.

Speaker Fee Schedule: Keynote fee (40 minutes to 1 hour), Training/General Session Fee (90 minutes to 2 hr, Half-Day and/or Full-Day training fee), travel requirements, etc. Your fees must be 'consistently' $5,000 or more / USD, and you must be able to prove being paid the fee that you share with The Baltimore Worldwide Speakers Bureau (required - at least 24 paid speaking engagements at your shared fee or higher within the past 24 months).

We primarily represent experienced business and professional speakers and trainers with a proven paid speaking track record. We are always evaluating exciting new speakers and trainers to offer our customers, but because of the high volume of materials we receive from potential speakers and trainers, we are unable to acknowledge the receipt of your material. We will contact you - ONLY - if we feel we are a good fit for one another. Please, do not telephone our business offices.

*** Refrain from calling our business offices.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION: Where can I find the Individual Speaker Profile Pages, Main Speaker Roster, and Topic Pages on the TBWSB Website?

Answer: The Baltimore Worldwide Speakers Bureau (TBWSB) chooses not to post on our website individual speaker profile pages, our main TBWSB Speaker Roster, or individual topic pages with speaker information on them so we can connect directly with and deliver to clients - statewide • nationwide • worldwide - our first-class 'personal-touch approach,' exceptional service, and Strong R.O.I. recommendations of high-quality speakers from our in-house speaker network. Our distinguished 'personal-touch approach' has been very successful and highly rated by our greatly appreciated clients for over two decades now! It sets us above and apart from many of the speaker agencies online today, even a few of our top-rated speaker bureau partners.

SPEAKER MANAGEMENT SUBMISSION

The Baltimore Worldwide Speakers Bureau's Speaker Management Services

TBWSB is always looking to partner with proven professionals who are in need of speaker management services. Our management team allows the speaker to focus on what they love … their speaking engagements, their profession, and family. With our speakers, we become an extended office, taking care of business: professional advice, inquiries, logistics, negotiating and marketing.

The Value of Working with The Baltimore Worldwide Speakers Bureau

We provide representation for speakers by utilizing our extensive relationships with in-house clients, professional meeting planners, production companies, and many speaker bureaus partners. We will feature the speaker on our affiliate website (MOTIVATIONmagazine.com) as well as work to maximize exposure with other professional groups and bureaus by providing news-worthy content, updates, video links, bios, programs, and topics. We’ll use all channels, such as direct messaging, e-newsletters, in-person networking, and social media.

We will help guide the speaker on their speaking career, provide professional advice on presentations, marketing and branding.

We become the speaker’s office by handling all speaking inquiries from possible clients in a fast and efficient manner, ensuring we give up-to-date fees, expenses. We take the time to understand exactly how a client is interested in using the speaker, and, in turn, negotiate an appropriate fee on the speaker’s behalf.

We work to manage the speaker’s calendar, including leads, holds, and upcoming events in order to qualify serious requests.

We issue firm offers and contracts on the speaker’s behalf, as well as handle all logistics which include travel, riders, and conference calls. We also take care of invoicing for deposits/balances/expenses for speaking engagements.

Speakers Who Are The Best Fit For TBWSB

Speakers who are the best fit for us typically already have 'consistent' incoming business. They are in need of PARTNERING with a reputable and reliable management service because they are way too busy with speaking engagements (writing books, their profession, etc.) to handle incoming requests and need help managing the calendar, logistics. They also may need assistance in developing professional speaker relationships. Our services are generally not geared towards speakers who are just starting their speaking careers (with fees under $5,000 per paid speaking engagement).

*** Refrain from calling our business offices.

We may take up to a month to get back to you and if you do not hear from us in that time frame, it means we will not be partnering with or adding you to our TBWSB Speaker Roster.
